More Orlando and Newport beach happenings

We took Aaron to Disney World Downtown again and Aaron was so excited to be able to be able to play with the legos again!

Aaron Loved Santa, but played shy this year.

We loved Disney's Santa! (Plus he was Free) He was so sweet with our shy boy!

On our last day there we wanted to take advantage of it being so Sunny! It was so beautiful! Cold, but Beautiful! It has been so long since we have been to a beach. Living in TN we are so FAR from the beach we haven't been able to see it, touch it, or feel it. It was great being able to just enjoy it.

I have to mention that I feel like the luckiest women in the world. I have these two handsome guys in my life and a baby girl on her way only 14 weeks away. We do have our fair, if not more, share of trials, but Heavenly Father really has blessed us and our Family!

I mean, look at that Handsome man I get to go to bed with every night and be with for eternity!

25 weeks and counting down til I get to hold my baby girl in my arms!

Orlando Florida

Michael and I had the opportunity to take a family vacation to Florida over Thanksgiving.  The first few days were taken care of by Michael's work because of the conference he was presenting at for world language teachers. We stayed in the fancy hotel and ate at some AMAZING restaurants. Friday night we went to a place called Opa Taverns. OMG it was amazing. The were belly dancers and loud music. The dancers were dancing on the dinner tables with the customers and doing konga lines with them. With it being a Greek restaurant the frequently threw napkins in the air and yelled "OPA!!!" Aaron of course loved it.
Aaron and I enjoyed the pool on Saturday. Oh it was beautiful. 78* weather the weekend before Thanksgiving! Loved it!
Saturday night we went to a place called Ming Court. Such good Chinese food. It brought us back to Taiwan! They had traditional Chinese music and Aaron loved it.

Sunday of course Aaron and I went to Church. (see the last post for the details.)

Today, Monday, we woke up in our new hotel. It had a great breakfast downstairs for us. So good! After breakfast we went to downtown Disney. It was a blast. Aaron had so much fun! He thought we really were in Disneyworld. (that's good cause we could not afford to go there this time around)

Daddy and Aaron Spent most of the time in the Lego store building things! (as mom sat on the curb wishing she already had her girl so she could do girlie stuff at that time!) We really just enjoyed spending time with each other (a rare things these days).

Okay, well, it's late so there will be more picture a little bit later.

Family and family history

The last few weeks in sunday school we have bee talking about Family History. It has really made me want to get into mine. That is when I remembered that I had someone in my family that has done so much work already. That is when I got of Facebook, yes facebook, and got in contact with someone special!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting someone that I have only met once in my life, when I was somewhere between 8-10. This person is such a sweet spirit and is now sharing that spirit with the Orlando, Florida area as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her name, well, her name is Ann Danes. My Great Aunt on my mom's side. (of course it won't be my father's side since he is not and has not been around. Although, I would LOVE to meet him. Anyways, getting off track!)
Ann is the wife of Don Danes, my Grandfather's brother. Well, in the last year my Grandfather, Carl Danes and my Uncle Danes both passed away.  Both of these men I did not get the chance to get know, something I wish I didn't have to say. So today, like I was saying, I got to meet with Ann. When we found out we would be going to Florida for Michael's work for a week and a half, and that she was serving a mission here, I decided to contact her and set up a time for us to me. And that is what we did today. I got to go to church with her, then afterwards, my little family went to her place and had lunch with her. I got to find out that there are so many members of the church on that side and that my Brother and I are not the only active members. I found out that my Grandfather was a bit of a loaner and he really broke my Grandmother's heart when he left, which explains so much when it comes to her and men.  She then was able to show me so many great pictures of her side of the family and of my Uncle Roger, who I have also only met once, maybe twice. Along with another Aunt that I had met but her name escapes me at the moment.
We also go tot go on the computer and she showed me a few names in order to get my uncle and Grandfather's family history. I can not wait to be able to continue to work on our family history.
